The Doosan Infracore Engine participated in the ‘Middle East Electricity Exhibition’ held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, from February 11 to 14. The Middle East Electricity, the region’s largest exhibition for the energy industry, marked its 38th anniversary this year, in which more than 1,100 companies from 54 nations around the world took part.
The Doosan Infracore Engine showcased its DP series engines (DP086 and DP222), ungraded versions with better output, durability and maintenance, as well as compact generator engines and generator gas engines, in its own 102㎡(31-pyung) booth, grabbing the attention of visitors. For this exhibition, the Doosan Infracore Engine displayed the promotion video for its new DP series engines on a large electronic board in the immigration checkpoint area in Dubai International Airport from 7 to 13 February.
The Doosan Infracore Engine invited major dealers from more than 20 countries to the conference in order to share its vision and strategic direction. Along with this, it promoted advance contracts for the new advanced engines, posting sales worth about US$10 million. The Doosan Infracore Engine also gave awards to its key dealers and OEMs, boosting their loyalty.
Vice President Lee Hong-koo, head of the Doosan Infracore Engine, stated, “This exhibition served as an opportunity for us to give wider publicity to the performance, durability and convenient maintenance of our engine products. We plan to more actively respond to tougher emissions standards and develop optimized products by customer groups, thereby enhancing sales and profitability.”
