The Doosan Infracore Engine participated in the ConExpo-Con/Agg 2014, the world’s largest heavy construction equipment exhibition, held in a convention center in Las Vegas, United States from March 4 to 8, to showcase its acclaimed engines.
The Doosan Infracore Engine set up its own booth in the South Hall, a venue for power train manufacturers from around the world, where D24, D34 and DL06, Doosan’s topnotch engines, S530, a Bobcat skid steer loader equipped with D24, Doosan’s compact diesel engine, and D25S-7, Doosan’s forklift, were displayed.
The Doosan Infracore Engine also held its first media conference in a meeting room, 2F, in North Hall, on 6 March, to introduce its products to equipment and engine media reporters and to carry out more active promotion activities. More than 60 guests including media staff and prospective clients joined and paid keen attention to the event. Dan Rim, executive director of Doosan Infracore, explained the development background and business status of Doosan’s compact diesel engines and future plans, saying, “Our products were already highly recognized via Bobcat in performance and quality and are ready to actively advance into global markets.” Then, Doosan Infracore president Son Dong-yeon gave detailed information on specifications and after-treatment to help participants have a clearer idea of Doosan’s compact diesel engines. While president Son delivered his speech, Doosan Infracore’s D18 engine made its appearance, being mobbed by photographers.
Brandon Kisse, a product development engineer, explained his experience as a user of Doosan’s compact diesel engine-equipped Bobcat gear, disclosing that he had used the G2 engine in cold and hot areas and applied it to customer equipment before getting feedback. Regarding the relationship between Doosan and Bobcat, he said, “Doosan and Bobcat have delivered exemplary performance via effective partnerships. This collaboration will continue to excel.”
Following the conference, Better Roads and Construction TV, the key media channel, posted related articles and video. The Doosan Infracore Engine considered the promotion of its compact diesel engines to be a great success, expecting this conference to make a big contribution to raising brand awareness and winning new OEMs.
