HD Construction Equipment held an Engine Business Division Supplier Conference on July 22. The event was attended by 40 participants, including Vice President Lee Byong-chol (Head of Engine Production), key executives from production, procurement, and quality departments, and representatives from 35 supplier companies.
The conference provided an opportunity to share the Engine Business Division's performance for the first half of the year, outline the outlook for the second half, and discuss future business strategies with suppliers.
Participants began by discussing production operations for 2026, aiming to find optimal solutions amid volatile market conditions and anticipated geopolitical risks for the second half of the year.
In the following presentation on engine product strategy, the company showcased its expanded product lineup, which now includes extra-large generator engines, as well as hydrogen and electrification options aimed at entering eco-friendly markets.
The company also shared detailed updates on new products scheduled for launch in the second half of 2026, along with construction progress at the Gunsan plant.
