Doosan Infracore presented the full lineup of its latest electronic generator engines including the DX22 at Middle East Electricity (MEE) 2019, held in Dubai, UAE, for three days from March 5.
Doosan Infracore announced on March 8 that it had participated in Middle East Electricity (MEE) 2019, which was held at the Dubai World Trade Center, UAE, from March 5 to 7. MEE is the world’s largest annual electricity and energy exhibition held in the Middle East.
Doosan Infracore presented its entire lineup of seven power generator engines along with its range of post-treatment parts (including toxic substance reduction devices) at the MEE 2019.
Notably, the company unveiled the mass-production model of its DX22 engine at the exhibition, having released a prototype last year. Boasting unrivaled output compared with the entire range of competitors’ models in the same class, the DX22, Doosan Infracore’s large 22-liter class electronic engine, is a high-performance, eco-friendly product boasting a 20 percent increase in output over the existing mechanical engine in the same class (DV22). Customer convenience has been further enhanced by improving the DX22’s parts compatibility and replacement cycles, and it also offers the highest level of efficiency in fuel and oil consumption in its class.
“The DX22 features significantly increased output and durability, making it the most competitive product in the world,” declared an official of Doosan Infracore. “With the launch of this innovative engine, we expect to increase our presence in the world’s large-sized electronic engine market for power generators while further consolidating our position in the marine engine market.
On March 5, the first day of the exhibition, Doosan Infracore invited eighty customers from around the world to a “Partners Day” to strengthen its ties with them. The company awarded prizes to outstanding customers and shared key information on its business performance in 2018 and its business plans for 2019 in the engine sector, as well as introducing its major new products and its recently improved customer services.
Vice-President Joonho Yoo, the head of the Engine BG said, “Ahead of the tightening of exhaust regulations in the European and Chinese engine markets, we are concentrating our resources on finding new business opportunities in those markets,” adding, “We also aim to boost our mid- to long-term growth momentum. To that end, we will do our utmost to strengthen our sales network around the world and promote further diversification in products and markets.”
